Lynk & Co, the car brand jointly owned by Geely and Volvo Cars, plans to commence pre-sales of the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) model at the Auto China 2024 set to kick off on April 25, Mu Jun, the Deputy General Manager of Lynk & Co Sales Co., Ltd., revealed on his Weibo account on March 15. Besides, official market launch and delivery for the model is set for May.
According to Mu Jun, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P will not be priced at 199,000 yuan as previously speculated. In line with the rollout plan, the first batch of the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P display vehicles is expected to arrive at dealerships by the end of March, with test drive vehicles anticipated by late April.
Designed on the CMA Evo platform, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P inherits the headlight design from the Lynk & Co 08, featuring the distinctive "Dawn Light" LED daytime running lights. The front fascia is rounded, equipped with a large air intake connected to the side air ducts, conveying a strong sense of sportiness.
The vehicle's side profile lowers the visual center of gravity with black A/B/C pillars and roof. It adopts hidden door handles, a common feature in new energy vehicles, enhancing its sleek appearance. The rear design follows the trendy through-type taillights, with four rectangular protrusions to increase recognizability. A black spoiler and large black rear bumper accentuate the sporty atmosphere.
The Lynk & Co 07 EM-P measures 4,827mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,843mm.
Inside, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P continues the design ethos of the Lynk & Co 08, featuring a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.4-inch central control screen with a super-narrow bezel and 2.5K resolution, running the LYNK Flyme Auto infotainment system co-developed by Lynk & Co and Meizu. The steering wheel's dual-color design is complemented by an elliptical metal decoration, adding a modern touch. The central console includes a wireless charging pad for smartphones.
Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is equipped with a PHEV-dedicated system combining a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 120kW, with a lithium iron phosphate battery supporting a WLTC range of 102km on battery power alone.
