Product Description
The Five-door Torres is the first full-fledged model produced by KGM, the manufacturer officially known as Ssangyong.
Available in both gasoline and electric versions, it's certainly a bold model and a good indicator of where KGM is headed. The Torres EVX (electric version) is no longer the cheap and cheerful Korean brand, but with a starting price of just under £45,000, it's giving some of the biggest names in the industry a run for their money.
But like Ssangyong before it, KGM is making sure its vehicles are fully loaded and equipped with all the standard features. That way, there will be no nasty vibrations at check-out.
The Torres EVX is available in K30 and K40 grades, but both models are powered by a 73.4kWh battery from leading battery manufacturer BYD, and both models have a combined driving range of 287 miles on a charge, increasing to 394 miles in the city, where regenerative braking kicks in more often.
